Pipette Service Technician

Scientific Calibration is currently hiring Pipette Service Technicians at its administrative headquarters in Cary, NC.

The position consists of in-house and on-site work which includes travel around the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Test, clean, repair, reassemble, and calibrate pipettes to ensure they are conforming to our customer's standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations in-house and on-site
  • Properly document work
  • Complete all related reports
  • Complete Data Entry into our system

Qualifications

  • Capacity to work independently and with others
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Must have a driver’s license

Desired Characteristics (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with ISO 17025.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations
  • Experience with calibration, service or repair of other laboratory instrumentation

    • 8 hour shift (8a.m. - 5p.m. with one hour lunch)

  • Familiarity with ISO 17025.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations
  • Experience with Calibration, service, or repair of laboratory instrumentation
  • Experience with Calibration, service, or repair of the process (manufacturing instrumentation
  • Ability to read and understand schematics/wiring diagrams
